Tens Pen Usage Guide
So you have found yourself with a Tens Pen and want to know how it works?
You have come to the right place :)
SOLO PLAY.

The pen works by making a circuit between the hand holding the pen and wherever you choose to touch the node (electrified end) to your body. If you have join pains, well, these devices were designed offer relief when touched to the area of pain. However, if you touch it to more sensitive parts of your body... well.. this is where it gets interesting! ;)
The most important thing to do is make sure to consult the health and safety advice on the leaflet enclosed with your Tens Pen, or CLICK HERE.
The second most important thing is to make sure you hold the pen tightly in your hand and ensure maximum coverage.
The way electricity works is it "shocks" the smallest surface. So, if you are holding the pen with as much surface area as possible in your hand (clasped tightly) then the smallest surface will be the tip of the pen and wherever you touch the tip of the pen, that is where you will feel it.
You may still feel a small tingle in the hand holding it but much more from the tip of the pen.
PARTNER PLAY
For use on your (willing) partner, then as advised above, hold the pen tightly in one hand, place your other hand flat on your partner (wherever you like but make sure it is on their skin, as flat as possible) then touch the tip of the pen to your partner wherever you want them to feel the shock/sensation.
The current will then pass through the pen - though your hand holding it, through your body then out your other hand (that is touching your partner) into your partner then meets the pen tip at the other side which is where they will feel the shock or sensation depending on which node head you use! Now that may sound a little scary, fear not! It's such a small current it's not harmful at all, however but still, please consult the safety advice as it may not be for everyone.

The beauty of how the tens pen works, means you can mix it up a little and use in conjunction with a pinwheel. To do so, use the mushroom cap, hold the pen tightly in one hand, pin wheel equally tightly in the other (to ensure maximum surface area) then tough the mushroom end to your partner and hold it on their skin, then the shock will be felt from the pinwheel wherever you run it on them. Pretty cool eh?

If you would like to try it with a pinwheel, you can pick them up from most online medical stores, or simply go to amazon or ebay. Or you can find one in our shop - HERE.

SAFETY ADVICE
Do not use the Tens Pen if you have a pacemaker, pulse regulator, artificial heart, lungs or other life sustaining electronic medical device.
Never use in the shower, bath, pool or in high humidity. Just don't get it wet.

Keep away from children and animals - it's not for them.

Consult a doctor before use if you are pregnant (I would recommend not using it if you are pregnant), have a serious heart condition or other life threatening disease or injury.

Do not cross the heart

Remember: Electricity is lazy, it always takes the shortest route when completing a circuit.
